He was the founder of establishing independent Diamond grading and Jewelry Valuation centers in Australia and Asia. He instigated the import / export of gems and jewelry in Asia, Europe and USA. His connections in the precious metals industry opened the doors for easy marketing of gold bullion bought and mined.

Graduate Gemologist of more than 25 years with an extensive working background in mineralogy and geology. He serves on the boards of a number of innovative companies worldwide with values ranging from a few thousand dollars to more than a billion. These include mining, commodities trading, wholesale import/export, oil & gas and real estate development. He has 30 years of experience in developing niche markets and strategic alliances internationally.

Mining experience covers all aspects of operations, from Scoping studies to full establishment and running of operations. Acting Manager of Operations, Maintenance and Engineering of the Cerro Vanguard project (Gold and Silver mine) conducted by Anglo American. Has 23 years experience in the Mining Industry; in plant operations, mineral processing design, technical sales study and project management. Delivered over 20 evaluation studies for small to medium mineral processing plants around the world. Experienced in test work management and interpretations, flow sheet design, detailed engineering design and commissioning. Specialist in fine and coarse gravity gold circuit test work and flow sheet design. Modular plant design experience.
Commissioning experience in crushing, gravity, flotation and leaching plants in Mexico, Russia, Argentina, Chile, Vietnam, Australia and PNG.

With more than 32 years’ experience in exploration, mine geology and resources estimation, working for international companies. Greenfield and brownfield discoveries. Assessment and recommendation of project acquisitions contributing to company growth.
Leadership of 300 employees. High engagement with SHEC policies and protocols. Created and lead effective Yamana Chile Servicios from 2007 to 2016. Senior Director Los Andes Exploration.
Responsible for greenfield and brownfield exploration in Los Andes Region: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Perú. Brownfield exploration in Chile (El Peñón and Florida Mine) and Argentina (Gualcamayo and Cerro Moro deposits). Reported to the Corporate Exploration Senior Vice-president. In charge of 300 employees (100 Yamana employees) and managed budgets up to US$70 million.

With 48 years’ exploration and evaluation experience in precious metals, massive sulfide, and porphyry copper deposits. He received a B. S. in mining engineering (1966) and M.S. in geology (1974) from the Univ. of Nevada – Reno as well as an MBA from the Univ. of Chile (2002). His entire career has been spent in minerals exploration and development starting with Phelps Dodge Corp. He subsequently went on to work for Chevron Resources then did an extended stint as a consultant before joining Magma and relocating to S. America in 1994. He stayed on with BHP after the Magma merger, then joined Xstrata in 2004 to manage the Las Bambas project in Peru. He then joined Mandalay Resources as Business Manager for South America. Currently, he provides consulting services to the mining industry. Ron is a 50-year member of SME, Fellow member of the Society of Economic Geologists, Registered Professional Geologist – Idaho (455) and Certified Professional Geologist AIPG (10952), as well as member of Colegio de Geólogos de Chile.

Is a certified Public Accountant and Accountant Auditor of the University of Santiago, Chile, with a Masters in Planning and Tax Management, a Post Degree and a Diploma in Tax Legislation, as well as numerous taxation courses, both National and International. Jose also acted as General Manager of Finance for ECSA Holdings, Chile and its many subsidiaries also acting as auditor and personal financial advisor for the Minister of Finance as well as the major shareholder of LAN, Chile. He has over 20 years of experience, including acting as auditor for Deloitte and Touche auditing National and International companies in the Mining, Gas, and real estate fields.

He has represented some of the world’s most successful private equity and financial companies, as well as some of the world’s largest corporations. Throughout his career and education, he has won numerous awards in the areas of corporate counsel, finance, and economics. He has structured, negotiated, and facilitated transactions in the multi-million to billion of U.S. dollar ranges and worked hand-in hand.

With more than 40 years of experience in all aspects of Geology. Her expertise includes exploration of metallic deposits: epithermal gold deposits, copper skarn, IOCG deposits and hydrothermal alteration zones, as well as non-metallic deposits. Her experience encompasses some of the largest mines (Codelco) in the world. A large part of her career was working for ENAMI (Governmental Mining Body) as well as professor of geology for the university of Chile. Has vast knowledge and expertise in the estimation of mineral reserves and resource deposits. Instrumental in planning, programming and developing as well as being part of the tender process, negotiations and sale of Important projects in Chile, such as Quebrada Blanca, Carmen de Andacollo, Pajonales El Indio and Libra-Sancarron and many more. Founding member of the Geologist College of Chile A.G. and the current president. A member of CRISCO and regional secretary of mining, equivalent position to the regional mining minister.

A qualified metallurgist (Bachelor in Applied Science with Major in Metallurgy) with over 20 years’ experience. Nigel also holds a Master’s in Business Management (MBM) with extensive experience in project development, also having held operational positions as Senior Metallurgist and Mill superintendent in several gold mining companies. His experience includes operational and project development positions working in Australia, Africa, Russia and South America. Nigel has worked on several major projects in South America including the Pirquitas pre-concentration project in Argentina for Silver Standard and The Minera Santa Cruz project with Hochschilds and other major companies in the region.
